When The Old Manor House opened its doors in 2007 it had been converted from an antique shop. The accommodation is self-contained with its own entrance giving guests total privacy to come and go as they please. The Manor Double is located on the first floor and the Manor Twin on the ground floor.
Both rooms have private en suite facilities. There is tea and coffee making facilities, radio and tv, wifi is available and both rooms have comfortable sitting areas making this much more than a B&B. A sumptuous breakfast is served in the main house which is reached within a few steps of the B&B entrance.
Locally sourced produce, home made preserves, fresh fruit and much more is available in order to give guests a wholesome and healthy start to the day be it visiting the many sites in the area or doing business. The house is beautifully quaint with original beams and features.
It’s a perfect place for a romantic hide-away or a comfortable base for touring around the area. There are two good pubs in the village, both within walking distance. Within a radius of 5 miles Chartwell, Knole House, Emmetts and other stately homes and gardens can be reached.
Biggin Hill, the famous Battle of Britain airport is a mere 8 miles away. An hourly bus connects Brasted with both Westerham and Sevenoaks. From Sevenoaks there are 3 fast (35 minutes) trains to London every hour which makes The Old Manor House an excellent base for visitors wishing to go to London but prefer a country setting. There is safe storage for bikes in the little courtyard garden round the back.
