The Adventure Playgrounds, Bird of Prey Centre, Adventure Golf and Gardens are now open. The Castle, Maze, Falconry Arena/Displays, Punting, Dog Collar Museum, Gatehouse Exhibition, Black Swan Ferry and Castle Train will remain closed for now. All visits must be reserved online, including existing ticket holders who can book for free. Click here for more information.
To ensure our visitors and staff are safe and to adhere to the guidelines on social distancing, we are restricting the number of visitors we can admit each day. This means if you would like to visit you will need to book a time slot online. If you already have a ticket you can book for free.
Currently we are unable to accept cash anywhere on the estate due to health and safety guidance.
Thank you for supporting the Leeds Castle Foundation, the charity that preserves and protects the Castle and its grounds for this and future generations.
What's open now and what will open later
The Adventure Playgrounds, Bird of Prey Centre, Adventure Golf and Gardens are now open.
The Castle, Maze, Falconry Arena/Displays, Punting, Dog Collar Museum, Gatehouse Exhibition, Black Swan Ferry and Castle Train will remain closed for now. However, we will be gradually opening up more attractions in the next few weeks.
The toilet facilities are open at the main entrance, Whistle Stop Café and the Adventure Playgrounds. These will be monitored and cleaned by our janitor team.

The shop by the playgrounds is now open. The shops at the main entrance and on the Castle Island are closed until further notice.
Face coverings will be required when entering our shops, Maze Café and Stable Yard Café.
We are very sorry that we had to close, it has been a tough period for everyone and that has included the charity which has had almost no income coming in. That is why your support is so important. The donation you make in return for your admission ticket will help us during this period of uncertainty.
And as a thank you for your support, all new tickets will be extended from a year to 15 months from the date of your donation. We will keep this offer open until 31st December 2020 (subject to availability). We hope you will understand but we cannot extend existing or expired tickets.
All the income we receive from admission tickets goes toward the running and preservation of the Castle and its estate. Your continued support is vital for the survival of Leeds Castle and it will ensure we can reopen all our facilities over the next few months and maintain them for our guests and visitors, now and in the years to come.
Keeping Our Visitors Safe
Our top priority is to keep you safe. We will do everything we can to make sure our visitors, staff and volunteers are able to follow the guidance on keeping a safe distance and on hand hygiene. It does mean though that we will have to restrict numbers and reopen in phases.
Events, Tours & Workshops
Our major events which had been planned between now and the end of September 2020 have been cancelled. This includes The Leeds Castle Concert and the Festival of Flowers along with all tours and workshops. The Jungle Book theatre production has been rescheduled for August 2021. The BIG Story Writing Challenge Grand Award Ceremony has also had to be postponed but we will let you know when we have rearranged a new date.
We are pleased to announce that we have been able to reschedule the Luna Cinema showings of The Greatest Showman, Grease and Downton Abbey to 21st, 22nd and 23rd August 2020. If you had tickets for the original screenings then your tickets will be transferred to the new dates. We will also now be showing three more films: Joker (18th August), Pretty Woman (19th August) and Rocketman (20th August)!
